A: For P2P Backup to operate correctly, your firewall needs to allow incoming connections on port 40200. Most software firewalls (such as windows firewall) will do this automatically as long as you grant the software access when asked.

Q: Will the software work behind a NAT router?
A: No, for this to work, you need to setup your router such that it forwards incoming connections on port 40200 to the IP address of the computer running P2P Backup. Please refer to your router documentation for instructions on how to do this.
